We are a family run lodge situated on the main road about 50km north of Maputo, catering for all travellers who are looking for a secure, comfortable, and affordable stop-over on their way up to Inhambane and beyond. Ideally located on the EN1 freeway, we are perfectly placed as an overnight stop for families and individuals en-route to northern and mid-Mozambique.

The 'Blue Anchor Inn' has a fully licensed bar as well as a restaurant that prides itself with good quality food, specializing in fresh Mozambican fare like flat chicken, prawns, prawn curry, steak, and line fish. Our motto is "Old Fashioned Hospitality", which we pride ourselves on constantly delivering.

Our accommodation is simple yet comfortable. We have a family cottage that sleeps eight as well as en-suite chalets with 2 double beds that are able to sleep four. We also have "Inn" style accommodation with all rooms having their own dedicated bathrooms. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with Mosquito nets and fans, and all bathrooms have hot water.
